Vanpooling is a an agreement where groups of five (5) to ten (10) individuals share a ride to work in a van that is provided and dedicated to their commute.
- Costs are shared among all members of the group and are based on the commute distance
- Riders meet at a park-n-ride or other agreed upon location at a specified time, and the van operates on a regular schedule
- Vanpool programs provide maintenance and repairs, insurance, and even a back-up van when needed
- Typically, the van can be used for small errands during your lunch break or after work (except on Metro Rides' vans)
